IMPORTANT: This message reminds you to change the serial port
configuration of the host terminal to match the new configuration
changes made to the serial port on the host module. If they do not
match, the DS71 will be unable to interpret the next command, and
you will be unable to access any connected unit. If this happens,
recycle power and reconfigure the unit. Make any necessary changes
to the host device before answering "Save Changes Permanently?"
If you have made necessary changes to the
host device, type "Y" for yes, followed by
<cr>. New configuration changes are stored
permanently in non-volatile memory.
DS71-MD2 From the configuration menu, select #2,
“Serial Port Configuration”, followed by
<cr>. The DS unit asks for the Host Device
number.
Enter Host Device Number (1-2) :
Selecting #1 will give the same results as the
DS71 in the previous section. Selecting 2
will give the following table:
