The algae have to be applied in 6 calibration plates. The volume of the cavity in the calibration plate is 100µl.
The area of the cavity is 1 cm². Please refer to the following table to get the required concentration of the algae
solution for application.

To get a increase the concentration of the algae solution it can be centrifuged with about 2000 rpm for about
20min.
1. Apply 100µl of the first calibration solution to the first calibration plate
2. Put the BenthoTorch on the calibration plate
