1. Coolant drain bolt
After the coolant is completely drained,
thoroughly ush the cooling system with
clean tap water.
Install the coolant drain bolt and its new
gasket, and then tighten the bolt to the
specied torque.
Pour the specied amount of the recom-
mended coolant into the radiator and re-
servoir.
Install the coolant reservoir cap.
Install the radiator cap.
Start the engine, let it idle for several mi-
nutes, and then turn it o.
Remove the radiator cap to check the coo-
lant level in the radiator.
If necessary, add sucient coolant until it
reaches the top of the radiator, and then
install the radiator cap.
Check the coolant level in the reservoir.
If necessary, remove the coolant reservo-
ir cap, add coolant to the maximum level
mark, and then install the cap.
Start the engine, and then check the vehi-
cle for coolant leakage.
If coolant is leaking, have a Benelli dealer
check the cooling system.
Air lter element
The air lter element must be replaced
at the intervals specied in the periodic
maintenance and lubrication chart.
Have a Benelli dealer replace the air lter
element.
Checking the engine idling speed
Check the engine idling speed and, if ne-
cessary, have it corrected by a Benelli de-
aler.
Engine idling speed:
1400-1600 r/min.
Antifreeze/water mixture ratio:
1:1
Recommended antifreeze:
High-quality ethylene glycol antifreeze
containing corrosion inhibitors
for aluminum engines
