Checking the wear of the brake pads
DANGER
If the brake pads are excessively worn out, the eectiveness of the braking system decreases,
increasing the risk of accidents.
Check frequently, from a Benelli Authorized Workshop, the wear and tear of the linings and,
wherever need, make them replaced.
To facilitate inspection without removing the pads from the callipers, brake pads have a wear mark.
If the grooves in the friction material are still visible, the pad is still in good condition.
The rear brake pads must be replaced when about 1.5 mm (0.05 in) of friction lining is still visible through the opening
in the callipers.
