4.4.18 EXPANSION TANK DISASSEMBLY (C.A.I.-C.S.I. Version)

18 • Disconnect the boiler from the electricity
supply
• Turn off the gas tap
18.1 Turn off heating system taps Heating system taps No tools – by hand
18.2 Remove the case.
See procedure pag. 25
18.3 Empty the heating system Safety valve lever No tools – by hand
18.4 Remove upper crosspiece
unscrew screw (1) N. 6 screws Magnetic PH2 screwdriver
18.5 Unscrew nut fastening (2) flexible ramp
-expansion tank N. 1 nut and N. 1 gland 23mm wrench
18.6 Unscrew the nut (3) fixing the lower
expansion tank crosspiece N. 1 nut 23mm wrench
18.7 Remove expansion tank Expansion tank No tools – by hand

Work the other way round from the above for reassembly operations.
