ATTENTION!
Please observe the following instructions when charging the battery:
• Only use LiFePO4 cell chargers with a closing voltage in accordance with the battery data
sheet!
• Even simple lead, gel, acid and AGM battery chargers can damage the LiFePO4 battery
when connected for the first time!
• Observe the maximum charging current of your battery, this must not be exceeded at any
time!
• Stop the charging process when the BMS stops charging and check the battery and the
charging parameters!
• Charge your LiFePO4 battery as soon as possible at a low charge level of approx� 20% or
after a switch-off due to undervoltage to ensure maximum service life!
• Charge your battery before use!
ATTENTION!
The batteries are not fully charged on delivery (usually between 30 - 40%). We there-
fore recommend that you always fully charge a new battery before use. Please note
our information on parallel or series connection of the batteries!
Charging at low temperatures
Our BMS also controls charging at low temperatures� The normal charging range is between
0°C and +60°C, whereby the battery absorbs the entire charging current�
If the temperature is outside this range, the charging current is reduced so that the battery can
either warm up slowly or cool down�
