Transferring calls between the base
telephone and the cordless handset
When you have a call in progress on the base
telephone:
1 On the base telephone, press and hold the
PAGE button until you hear a beep and a
background tone
è The call is put on hold hold for 5 seconds.
Within the 5 seconds, press the handset
number, e.g. 1 for Handset 1. The handset will
be paged.
2 On the cordless handset, press the TALK or
SPEAKERPHONE button to connect to the base
in an intercom call. When the base hangs up,
the call will be transferred.
è You are connected to the call on the cordless
handset.

cordless
handset
You can transfer calls backwards and forwards between
the base telephone and cordless handset, and you can
also make intercom calls between them.
When you have a call in progress on the
cordless handset:
1 On the cordless handset, press the INTERCOM
button to put the call on hold for 5 seconds, and
the display shows
HS-HS-
HS-HS-
HS-. Within the 5 seconds,
press digit 0 (for the base).
2 On the base telephone pick up the handset or
press the SPEAKERPHONE button to connect to
the cordless handset in an intercom call. When
the cordless handset clears down, the call will
be transferred.
è You are connected to the call on the base
telephone.
