  If there is no dialling tone when you press the talk key on your Binatone Telephone, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure the connection cord of the base station is properly plugged in, unplugging and plugging it back in to ensure a secure connection, and verify that the telephone cord is connected to both the base station and the phone socket. Also, check that the adapter cord is correctly plugged into both the base station and the 230V plug, removing and reinserting them. If another handset is in use, wait until the line becomes available. Finally, make sure you are using the original telephone line cord that was supplied with the phone.
