Limit CPUID MaxVal
Set Limit CPUID MaxVal to 3, it should be “Disabled” for Windows XP.
The Choices: Disabled (default), Enabled.
C1E Function

is made to write to the boot sector, BIOS will display a warning message on the
screen and sound an alarm beep.
Disabled (default) Virus protectio n is disabled.
Enabled Virus protection is activated.
Hyper-Threading Technology
This option allows you to enable or disabled Hyper-T hreading Technology.
“Enabled” for Windows XP and Linux 2.4.x (OS optimized for
Hyper-Threading Tec hnology). “Disable” for other OS (OS not optimized for
Hyper-Threading Technology).
