CONVEYOR AND CONVEYOR BELT INSTALLATION
1. Ensure conveyor and conveyor belt are clean prior to installation.
2. Slide the belt over the conveyor arm. With slack on the right side of the belt, insert conveyor arm onto the
conveyor support shaft while sliding the belt over the conveyor roller.
3. Once in postion, rotate the arm down into position. When in proper position, centering disc of the conveyor arm
will be in contact with a centering disc on the former case. The belt will be tight on the large and small rollers.
CLEANER ARM INSTALLATION
1. Ensure cleaner arm is clean prior to installation.
2. Loosen cleaner arm locker assembly, to the left of the drum.
3. Insert cleaner arm, be sure the inner bar engages into the osscillating support.
4. Tighten cleaner arm locker assembly.
PADDLE INSTALLATION
1. Ensure paddle is clean prior to installation.
2. Unlock and swing open the Hopper Cover
3. Insert paddle onto the paddle shaft, turn clockwise until paddle pin engages within the paddle shaft.
b. Check the pins attached inside the hopper wall. Ensure they are fastened securely and won’t interfere with paddle.
Otherwise serious irreparable damage may occur to machine. Note: The bottom blade of the paddle will travel
under the short, bottom pin. The top blade of the paddle will travel under the top, long pin and over the short,
bottom pin.
a. In the event of an interference, it may be helpful to remove the drum to install the cleaner arm.
b. Be careful not to damage the cleaning wire during installation.
a. The paddle is designed to cover the drive shaft seal. So the large opening of the paddle will slide down over
the shaft, seal and enclose them. You will notice the paddle only goes on one way.
c. For easy removal, ensure the paddle is away from the pins when machine is turned o for cleaning.
