5 Data communication with the FI
5.1 Communication via BEST SOFTWARE
Using the BEST SOFTWARE and the BEST interface
converter (part number: 344 314 01), a communication
with all VARISPEED models is possible.
Necessary conditions
• PC/mobile device
– Equipped with the operating system Windows 7 or
newer
– With USB port
– With BEST SOFTWARE installed
The BEST SOFTWARE can be downloaded for
free from the BITZER website www.bitzer.de.
• Data connection via BEST interface converter
Setting up the communication (see figure 11, page
31)
▶ Connect the BEST interface converter to the terminal
strip X100 and the mobile device (see figure 10,
page 31).
▶ Switch on the PC/mobile device and start
BEST SOFTWARE.
▶ Click the NEW button (2).
➙ A window displaying the available devices opens.
▶ Select VARISPEED (3).
▶ Click the CONNECT button (4).
➙ This concludes the connection of the ECOLINE
VARIPSPEED compressor to the PC/mobile device.
The BEST SOFTWARE allows you to configure the FI,
to monitor its operation and to read the last 10 fault
messages that have occurred.
