8 Commissioning
For a detailed description, please refer to the operating
instructions KB-104 of the compressor:
Check tightness
Evacuate
Refrigerant charge
Checks before starting

NOTICE
The oil heater (M1E) is switched on by placing
the service switch (Q1) in the position ON
(switch position vertical). To prevent damage to
the compressor, you must ensure that the oil
heater is operated as described in the operating
instructions of the compressor KB-104.

8.1 Setting the controller
Before starting the condensing unit and before activat-
ing the controller (see chapter Status menu, page 60)
the following parameters must be set (see chapter Pro-
gramming menu, page 67):
Refrigerant used
Retrofitted options
Provided control according to suction pressure
(evaporation pressure) or cold store temperature
Set point for control
Moreover, parameters for controlling the speed of the
fan, influencing the [ECOLITE] controller via the super-
ior system controller, etc., can be adjusted.
The ECOLITE controller has four function keys for op-
eration and diagnostics and a colour display on the top
of the device. Operation and diagnostics are also pos-
sible via the BEST SOFTWARE.
