15. Unit BPS2000/BPS2500 soware upgrade
15.5 A correctly uploaded update file to the BPS2000/BPS2500 will automacally restart the unit
and display the following window from the TFTP applicaon
15.6 The soware update takes from several seconds to several minutes, depending on the size of the changes in
the soware.
15.7 Aer the soware is uploaded correctly, the unit will restart the management soware and one short sound
sygnal will be heard.
15.8 You may need to clear your browsing history on your PC's web browser aer updang the soware.
15.9 If you have problems with the correct operaon of the new funcons in the unit soware, please perform a
restart to factory sengs [Restart to default Sengs], during the restart all unit configuraon data will be lost.
During the soware update, all unit configuraon data may be lost.
To ensure proper execuon of the update, ensure:
1. connuity of the unit's electrical power supply
2. a stable network connecon (Ethernet) between the computer and the unit BPS2000/BPS2500.
Failure to maintain any of the above points will result in erroneous soware upload and loss of communicaon and
management over the unit.
