Selecting tracks/fi les
To move up or down to another track/fi le in
the current directory,
press the or 4 button once or
several times.
If you press the
button 4 once, the
current track will be played again from the
beginning.
Selecting directories and track
in MP3 browse mode
In MP3 browse mode, the tracks and direc-
tories of the MP3 data carrier are displayed
as they are physically stored on the data car-
rier in directories and subdirectories. For
this purpose, a three-line display is shown
in MP3 browse mode. This display shows all
the tracks and subdirectories of the current
directory as a list. You can select and play a
track in this list or select and open a subdi-
rectory. In addition, you can change to the
higher level directory if you are currently in
a subdirectory.
Selecting and exiting MP3 browse mode
To change from standard display to MP3
browse mode,
press the DIS button : repeatedly
until the three-line display of the MP3
browse mode appears.
The three-line display shows a list of the
subdirectories and the name of the current
directory. The current track is identifi ed in
the list by a right arrow in front of the track
name.

To exit MP3 browse mode again,
press the DIS button :.
The standard display appears.
Note
In MP3 browse mode, fast searching
and the functions MIX, REPEAT and
SCAN are not available.
Selecting a track or subdirectory
To move up or down in the list to the desired
track or subdirectory,
press the
or button 4 once or
several times.
The selected track is displayed in inverted
mode.
Notes:
If the list contains more than 3 tracks
and subdirectories, the list is auto-
matically scrolled up or down while
you are navigating in the list. You
reached the beginning or end of the
list if the up or down arrow on the
right edge of the list is no longer be-
ing displayed.
Press and hold down the
or
button 4 to quickly scroll through
the list.
To play the selected track or open the
selected subdirectory,
press the
button 4.
The playback of the selected track starts
or the contents of the selected subdirectory
is displayed.
