Notes:
This setting can be performed only
if no CD changer is connected to the
device and if the device is not in AUX
mode.
As long as the rear AUX input is
switched on, it can be selected with
the SRC button 2, even if no exter-
nal audio source is connected.
Press the MENU•OK button 5.
Press the

edly until "AUX MENU" appears on the
display.
Press the
button 4 to open the
menu.
"AUX ON" or "AUX OFF" appears on the dis-
play.
Press the
or button 4 to toggle
between "AUX ON" and "AUX OFF".
When you have fi nished making your chang-
es,
press the ESCAPE button ;.
Adjusting the level of the external audio
source
The volume at which an external audio
source is played can differ from the volume
of the device-specifi c audio sources (radio,
CD, MP3/WMA). To compensate for this
difference, you can adjust the level of the
external audio sources.
Press the MENU•OK button 5.
Press the
or button 4 repeat-
edly until "AUX MENU" appears on the
display.
Press the
button 4 to open the
menu.
Press the
or button 4 repeatedly
until "AUX LEVEL" appears.
Press the button 4 to open the
menu.
Press the
or button 4 to adjust
the level between 0 and 8.
When you have fi nished making your chang-
es,
press the ESCAPE button ;.
Naming the external audio source
For the rear AUX input, you can enter a sep-
arate name that is shown on the display if
you select the connected audio source.
Press the MENU•OK button 5.
Press the
or button 4 repeat-
edly until "AUX MENU" appears on the
display.
Press the
button 4 to open the
menu.
Press the
or button 4 repeatedly
until "AUX NAME EDIT" appears.
Press the
button 4 to open the
menu.
Press the
or button 4 to enter
the character at the current position.
Press the
or button 4 to change
to a different position.
Press the MENU•OK button 5 to
store the name.
