Use the menu button < to select
the Special character fi eld D and
press the OK button =.
The bottom line of the character
list C displays additional special
characters.
From the bottom line of the char-
acter list C, select the desired
special character and press the
OK button =.
Use the menu button < to select
the Special character fi eld D again
and press the OK button =.
The bottom line of the character
list C displays the original spe-
cial characters again.
Deleting characters from the text
input
To delete an incorrectly entered
character:
Use the menu button < to select
the Delete fi eld D and press the
OK button =.
The character entered last is de-
leted. Automatic completions of
the name are deleted.

Press the ESC button A.
Note:
If you press the ESC button A
for an extended period of time,
all characters are deleted.
Entering an address
To enter an address:
Mark and confi rm the "Destination"
menu in the navigation display.
The "Destination" menu appears.
Note:
The "Destination" menu displays
different menu items, depending
upon which address information
you have already entered.
To enter the address, enter the fol-
lowing in sequence:
the country in which your desti-
nation is located (required only if
you want to navigate to a different
country or if you enter a destina-
tion for the fi rst time, see p. 55),
the name or postcode of the city in
which your destination is located
(see p. 55),
the name of the street in which
your destination is located (see
p. 56) or a centre (see p. 56) or
a point of interest (see p. 57) in
the city,
