If the connection to the reversing
light is not possible, connect pin
3 to ground.
Note:
If you do not connect the revers-
ing light signal, the device does
not detect a reverse travel. If the
GPS signal is missing, it may im-
pact the accuracy of the naviga-
tion.
Connecting the speedometer
signal
You can navigate with or without
speedometer signal.
CAUTION!
Risk of damage!
Incorrect connections can damage
the device or the vehicle electron-
ics.
This connection should only be
performed by an authorised spe-
cialist workshop of the vehicle
manufacturer!
Connect the vehicle-specific
speedometer signal connection
to pin 1 4 of the connector in
chamber A 5.

Note:
The supplied bracket of the device
is intended for a DIN car sound
system cutout measuring 182 x
53 x 165 mm and an instrument
panel thickness of 1 – 20 mm in
the area of the tabs. For vehi-
cles without DIN tray, you need
a vehicle-specifi c bracket for 50/
52-mm devices. Please contact
your specialised Blaupunkt deal-
er.
Insert the bracket into the tray.
