30 seconds before shut-down the
display will switch to a countdown
timer with a flashing standby icon. If
the audible alarm is on, it will silence
during this countdown; if the unit
is in Audio OFF mode, the audible
alarm will switch ON and the unit will
beep during the countdown.
Any button press or alarm that oc-
curs will continuously reset the 10
minute internal timer.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Sensor Filter
! To ensure optimum sensor
performance and longevity, the
sensor filter should be replaced
when visibly dirty or when the
message screen in Fig. 12 is dis-
played. The CS LD 1.0 will keep
track of the number of hours of
usage and will advise the user
when it is time to replace the
filter.

ii The warning depicted in Fig. 12
is displayed at power ON when
the CS LD 1.0 internal timer re-
gisters approximately 30 hours
of accumulated use.
7.1.1 Check Sensor Filter
message
When the ‘Check Sensor Filter’
message (Fig. 12) is displayed, the
user is directed to consult this ma-
nual for the following instructions.
It is possible to take one of two
actions at this time:
• Check and replace if necessary,
the filter.
• Postpone filter check until a
subsequent operation.
It is highly recommended to choo-
se the first option.
