9. Transport
9.1 Transport of device
The usable lithium-ion battery is subject to the Dangerous goods legisla-
tion requirements. The CS LD 1.0 contains an integrated lithiumion bat-
tery. The user can transport the device by road without further require-
ments. When being transported by third parties (e.g. via air transport or
forwarding agency), special requirements on packaging and labelling must
be observed. For preparation of the item being shipped, consulting an
expert for hazardous materials required.
Dispatch the unit only when the housing is undamaged. Please also ob-
serve possibly more detailed national regulations.
10. Decommissioning
10.1 Disposal of electronic items
This product is subject to European guidelines 2012/19/EU.
Old electrical and electronic devices, including cables, accesso-
ries and batteries that are defective or no longer in use, must be
disposed separately from household waste. Use the return and
collection systems in place for disposal in your area.Damage to
the environment and hazards to personal health can be prevented
by properly disposing of old equipment.
Follow local regulations for disposal of electronic items.
