Maintaining your Table Saw
MAINTENANCE
For your own safety, turn switch “OFF” and re-
move plug from power source outlet before main-
taining or lubricating your saw.
Do not allow sawdust or
other cutting debris to ac-
cumulate inside the saw. Dust buildup may im-
pact the drop arm’s ability to move away from the
operator resulting in serious personal injury.
To avoid dust build up in the undercarriage it is
recommended to attach a vacuum 17c to the
saw’s dust port 17, if a vacuum is unavailable to
avoid dust build up, release the dust shroud latch
17b and keep unlocked during operation without
a vacuum. The dust particles will drop through the
crack opened by the shroud door 17a. Remem-
ber to lock the shroud door when you reconnect
the vacuum (Fig. 68).
