The following tightening torques apply:
• Fittings:
Observe the manufacturer's specifications regarding the tightening torques of the
fittings used.
• Female threads in the axial piston unit:
The max. permissible tightening torques M

are the maximum values for the
female threads and should not be exceeded. For values, seeTable 11.
• Threaded plugs:
For the metallic threaded plugs supplied with the axial piston unit, the required
tightening torques of threaded plugs M

apply. For values, seeTable 11.
• Mounting bolts:
For mounting bolts with DIN13 metric ISO threads, we recommend checking the
tightening torque individually in accordance with VDI2230.
In addition to the ports specified in Table 10 "Ports A4VG series35Series35"
on page41, axial piston units may have openings that are also closed with
athreaded plug. These plugs must not be opened on the customer side! If you
have opened the threaded plug accidentally, please contact your local contact
person to ensure safe re-closing of the plug. You can find the address at

Tightening torques
