22/72 Installation
Bosch Rexroth AB, RE 15300-WA, Version 06.2021
7.2 Installation conditions
7.2.1 Spline shaft end
The splines shall be lubricated, with hydraulic oil or lled with transmission oil
from the connected gearbox (see : Mounting the spline motor to the coupling adapter/
driven shaft page 46).
To avoid wear in the splines, the installation must be within the recommendations
and specied tolerances according to data sheet RE 15300.
7.2.2 Plain shaft end
Recommended design of driven shaft end on normally loaded shaft
In drives with only one direction of rotation and/or load where the stresses in the
shaft are moderate, the shaft can be plain. For further information see data sheet
RE 15300.
Recommended design of driven shaft end on heavily loaded shaft
Where the driven shaft is heavily loaded and is subject to high stresses, for
example for changes in the direction of rotation and/or load, it is recommended
that the plain driven shaft should have a stress relieving groove. For further
information see data sheet RE 15300.
Thread for assembly tool
To make it easier to mount the motor on the driven shaft end or to remove the
motor from the shaft it is recommended that a hole should be drilled and tapped
in the centre of the shaft for a mounting tool. For further information see data
sheet
