7.4.7 Flushing
To avoid high temperature in the motor case the heat must be removed, because
high temperature gives lower viscosity and that gives reduction in basic rated life /
service life. The motor case must be ushed when the output power exceeds the
max. values.
For calculation of required ushing, see data sheet RE 15300 or contact your
Bosch Rexroth representative. The ushing oil shall be drained in the normal
drainline, see chapter 7.4.6: Draining and venting the motor.
Connect the input ushing line at the lowest drain port, D1-D8 at opposite side
compared to the drain outlet in order to obtain a cross ushing ow through the
motor, see Fig. 53 and Fig. 54.
CAUTION
High temperature in motor case!
Reduction in basic rated life/service life.
