the air conditioning system to OFF.
ATTENTION. Failure to replace
the batteries in a timely manner
may cause damage to the heating
system (it is no longer protected
by antifreeze).
To replace the batteries, proceed
as follows:
16.1 - Open the front panel on the
thermostat, figure 79.
16.2 - Slide out the battery cover,
figure 80.
The indications on the display dis-
appear.

16.3 - Remove the flat batteries
and insert three new LR03 type
AAA 1.5V batteries according to the
polarity indicated on the bottom of
the battery housing, figure 81.
Replace the battery cover.
After a few seconds, the indica-
tions reappear on the display.
If the messages on the display do
not appear within 30 seconds,
press the reset button R (fig. 74).
The time available for replacing
the batteries is about 2 min;
after that time all operating set-
tings of the system are lost.
