4 Changing the brake lining
4 Changement de garniture de frein
[21] Position upper brake shoe with mounted return
spring.
[22] Position lower brake shoe with mounted spring
bolt at a slant, push lower rolled end of the
return spring over the spring bolt and fit circlip.
Push lower brake shoe into correct position.
[23] Engage the four return springs on the brake pin
side.
[24] Engage outer (short) return spring (1) on upper
spring bolt.
[25] Insert plate (2) in rolled end of spring and in
groove on pinion of brake camshaft.
[26] Engage lower return spring (3) on plate (2)
and on lower spring bolt using screw driver.
Fit circlip on both spring bolts.
[27] Expand brake to small extent.
[28] Using a brake lathe turn down the brake linings
to fit the brake drum diameter until an even
wear surfaces has been obtained.
[21] Placer la mâchoire de frein supérieure avec le
ressort de rappel monté.
[22] Incliner la mâchoire de frein inférieure avec un
boulon de ressortet fixer le circlips. Remettre
dans sa position correcte la mâchoire de frein
inférieure.
[23] Accrocher 4 ressorts de rappel sur le côté du
boulon de frein.
[24] Accrocher le ressort de rappel (1) extérieur
(court) sur le boulon de ressort supérieur.
[25] Placer la plaque (2) dans l’oeil de ressort et
dans la rainure du tourillon de l’arbre à came de
frein.
[26] Accrocher le ressort de rappel (3) inférieur dans
la plaque (2) et à l’aide d’un tournevis sur le
boulon de ressort inférieur. Fixer le circlips sur
les deux boulons de ressort.
[27] Ecarter le frein.
[28] Rectifier les garnitures de frein en fonction du
diamètre du tambour de frein afin d'obtenir une
portée uniforme.
