The carriage is spring-loaded, providing counterbalance.
Caution:
Although the slide system provides well-balanced stiffness
against loads applied from any direction, check with
Branson if your application involves severe side-loading.
Columns in 4, 5, and 6 foot lengths are available from Branson. If you
plan to use a column other than the standard 40-inch column, consult your
local Branson representative for additional information on product
requirements.
