4.4 Verifying the pressure calibration
1 Start the PV 101+/PV 102+.
2 Remove the casing (see section 3.2).
3 Connect a pressure gauge to the patient air inlet and arrange a leakage with a
5 mm flow restrictor (see diagram below).
4 Set both the IPAP and EPAP pressure to 20 mbar.
5 Check that the pressure rises to 20 mbar ±1 mbar. If not, the P204 potentiometer
must be adjusted.
6 Set both the IPAP and EPAP pressure to 4 mbar.
7 Check that the pressure rises to 4 mbar ±0.5 mbar. If not, the P203 potentiometer
must be re-adjusted.
8 If necessary, repeat the pressure calibration procedure (see section 4.3).
9 Remove the equipment and reassemble the casing (see section 3.2).
