SAFETY NOTE
WARNING: The Emergency is an emergency instrument that
may only be activated in case of real distress.
WARNING: Unwarranted operation of the transmitter will be
sanctioned by a fine. The owner is solely responsible for the
consequences of such an occurrence.
WARNING: In principle, Emergency users are not required to
hold a radio license. However, some national administrations
may require the user to have one. For more information,
contact the relevant national authority.
CAUTION: The Emergency does not float and should not be
used in water. Avoid handling the antenna when the beacon
is activated.
CAUTION: do not disassemble the watch (it does not contain
any parts that can be repaired by the user). Any intervention
on your Emergency must be carried out by a specialized
certified repair center. The first service, free of charge, should
be done at the date mentioned on the back of the watch.
After that, the watch must be serviced every two years.
CAUTION: the watch contains a lithium battery. Do not
incinerate, pierce, deform or short-circuit.
WARNING: to ensure proper functioning, it is advisable to
recharge the battery and do a self-test of the beacon, ideally
before each mission or expedition, but at least once every
two months.
WARNING: the Emergency must be registered at the time
of purchase in accordance with the national procedures in
force. The beacon must be registered in the owner’s country
of residence.
