In case of distress, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the watch from wrist and hold it with the bracelet
in the left hand, face of the watch up.
Turn the main antenna cap A counter-clockwise until it comes
completely unscrewed. The ring gives way and releases the
cap.
Note: The main cap A bears the inscription “TURN 1” along
with an arrow.
2. Pull out the cap A to extend the main antenna until the
cap breaks away from the antenna.
Note: The watch caseback bears the inscription “PULL 2”
with an arrow pointing outwards near the main antenna.
3. Pick up the watch by its bracelet in the right hand so as
to leave the left hand free to pull the secondary antenna.
The secondary cap B opposite cap A has been automatically
released. Withdraw this cap B and discard it. This reveals a
small red ‘handle’ C. Pull this handle outwards to extend
the secondary antenna section until it breaks away from
the handle.
Note: The watch caseback bears the inscription “PULL 3” with
an arrow pointing outwards near the secondary antenna.
IMPORTANT: It is essential to pull cap A and handle C pro
-
perly until each breaks away in order to entirely extend both
sections of the antenna.
The way the cap and the handle are fixed to the two antenna
sections has been specifically designed to give way when
subjected to a degree of resistance corresponding to optimal
deployment length (18 cm/7.1 in. for the short section and
around 50 cm/19.7 in. for the long section).
