6. Attach the tether to a
designated anchor (see
vehicle owner’s manual)
and remove slack (see
page 29).
7. Wrap excess webbing in
the elastic strap and store
in tether storage pouch.
Forward-Facing Installation with LUAS
9 All connections are secure and straps are not twisted.
9 Car seat base MUST be flat on vehicle seat and MUST be
parallel to vehicle seat.
9 No more than
7.5 cm (3 in.)
of the base hangs over the
edge of the vehicle seat.
9 The child seat cannot be moved front to back or side to
side more than 2.5 cm (1 in.) at the belt path. If the child
seat is not secure, repeat installation or use a dierent
seating location.
9 Any excess tether webbing is contained within your
vehicle and secured in the elastic strap.
9 The anti-rebound bar is removed.
