Child Fit Information
Rear Facing: 2�3 – 18 kg (5 – 40 lbs)
Britax strongly recommends that children ride rear facing to
the highest weight or height specified.
Use rear facing:
• with harness straps in the closest
position at or below the child’s
shoulders and
• with children who weigh 2.3 – 18 kg
(5 – 40 lbs) and
• who are 124.5 cm (49 in.) or less in
height and
• when the top of the child’s head is at
least 2.5 cm (1 in.) below the top of
the head restraint/head pad.
IMPORTANT: The infant positioning pillow must be used
to achieve better fit and support for infants weighing up to
10 kg (22 lbs) in a rear-facing position. Do not use over 10
kg (22 lbs) or in a forward-facing position. See page 24.
Forward Facing: 10 – 29�4 kg (22 – 65 lbs) and are able to
walk unassisted
Britax strongly recommends that children should be secured
with a harness system until they exceed the weight or height
limits specified.
Use forward facing:
• with harness straps in the closest
position at or above the child’s
shoulders, parallel to level ground
and
• with children who weigh 10 – 29.4 kg
(22 – 65 lbs) and
• who are able to walk unassisted and
• who are 124.5 cm (49 in.) or less in
height and
• when the top of the ears are below
the top of the head restraint/head
pad.
IMPORTANT: Do not use the infant positioning pillow
with a forward-facing installation.
