Rear-Facing Installation
with LUAS
8. Firmly press the lower
connectors over
their adjacent lower
anchors.
NOTE: Verify that the
connectors are secure,
and the strap is not
twisted.
9. Pull the end of the
lower connector strap
to remove slack.
10. Close the ClickTight
over the lower anchor
strap.
11. Ensure both gray
ClickTight release
buttons are visible.
NOTE: If it is difcult to
close you may have
removed too much
slack.
9 Recline indicator is completely within the blue
section for rear-facing, after child is secured.
9 Child restraint cannot be moved front to back or
side to side more than 2.5 cm (1 in) at the belt path.
9 LUAS are routed through ClickTight.
9 Car seat base MUST be at on vehicle seat and
MUST be parallel to vehicle seat.
NOTE: If the child restraint does not meet the above
criteria, repeat the installation steps, or use a different
seating location in your vehicle.
NOTE: Do NOT install by
this method for a child
weighing more than
15.8 kg (35 lb).
