LUAS Installation
1. Remove the tether.
a. Extend the tether by
lifting on the tether
adjuster.
b. Unhook the tether
hook from the back
of the child restraint
and place it over
the seat back.
2. Remove the lower
connectors from the
storage compartment
(at the rear of the seat)
3. Pull the strap to full
length toward the
child’s left side.
4. Recline the unoccupied
child restraint to
appropriate position
(see page 17-18).
5. Place child restraint
forward-facing on the
vehicle seat so that
the car seat base is
contacting, at, and
parallel to the vehicle
seat.
NOTE: Ensure that no
more than 7.5 cm (3 in)
of the base hangs over
the edge of the vehicle
seat (see page 12).
6. Open the ClickTight.
a. Lift the front cover
ap.
b. Squeeze the
ClickTight release
buttons.
7. Slide the lower
connector strap into
the forward-facing belt
paths.
8. Firmly press the lo wer
connectors over their
adjacent lower anchors.
NOTE: Verify that the
connectors are secure
and the strap is not
twisted.
