NOTICE
The outriggers should always be set before configuring the Rated Capacity Limiter.
The system will check for outrigger position before the configuration can be confirmed.
If the configuration does not match the outrigger position, the system will default the
configuration to an ON RUBBER chart.
The IC-600 is equipped with transducers that detect when all the outriggers are completely
deployed. These transducer inputs are fed to the RCL, which allows it to decide which chart to
work with: Outriggers or Rubber.
Once the RCL is in run mode, the IC-600 continues to detect when outrigger positions
change. An allowance is made for one outrigger to lift due to chassis flex. When two are
detected to be lifted, the audio alarm will sound, and the machine will be placed into an
ON-RUBBER load chart. NOTE: if this occurs with a load that is more than a Rubber Chart
allows, the RCL will go into FKO (Function Knock Out), limiting functions, until it is rectified.
