VIDEO OUTPUT CONNECTION
The video output from certain iPod models can be output to a TV using the VIDEO
OUT jack. Connect one end of an RCA plug signal wire (not included) to the VIDEO
jack and the other end to your home TV. Please note that the jack on your TV must
be configured to accept input rather than output signals to enable this feature to
work correctly. For iPod nano, touch and classic, VIDEO OUT function is disabled by
default. iPod VIDEO OUT settings can be changed through menu “TV out option”.
HEADPHONE CONNECTION
You can use headphones (not included) to listen in privacy. Insert the headphones 3.5mm
plug into the PHONE jack. Use corresponding adapters if you have different plugs.
The unit’s speakers will mute automatically when headphones are plugged into the jack.
WARNING:
To protect your hearing, follow below guidelines when you use the headphones.
Do not listen at an extremely high volume level. Extended high volume
listening can lead to permanent hearing loss.
Turn the volume down before listening to headphones. Once you begin
listening, adjust volume up to your desired sound level. This prevents the
headphones from suddenly activating at a high level.
Once you set the volume level, do not increase it. Over time, your ears adapt
to the volume level. So a volume level that does not cause discomfort might
still damage your hearing.
