ISSUE POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
TROUBLESHOOTING (RADIO)
No signal from
the radio.
Noise or sound
distorted on
AM or FM
broadcasting.
FM STEREO
indicator will
not illuminate.
AM or FM has
no sound.
Unit is not in radio mode.
Station is not
tuned properly.
FM: Wire antenna
is not extended.
AM: AM antenna is not
positioned properly.
Signal is not strong
enough, or the station
is a mono station.
Unit is not in TUNER
function on an AM or
FM band.
Volume is at the lowest
level or the unit is in
MUTE mode.
Press the FUNC button
and select radio mode.
Retune the AM
or FM station.
Extend the FM wire antenna.
Reposition the AM antenna until
the best reception is obtained.
Extend the FM antenna
or find another FM station.
Press tuner button to select
AM or FM band.
Increase the volume level
or press MUTE button to resume
the previous volume level.
