Checking the Page Counters A
You can see the machine’s Page Counters
for copies, printed pages, reports, lists and
faxes or a summary total.
a Press Menu, 8, 2.
b Press a or b to see Total, Fax/List,
Copy or Print.
c Press Stop/Exit.
Checking the remaining life of
parts A
You can see the machine’s parts life on the
LCD.

The life check will be accurate only if you
have reset the part counter when you
installed a new part. It will not be accurate
if that part’s life counter was reset during
the life of the used part.
The remaining life of the toner cartridge is
listed on the User Settings report. (See
How to print a report uu page 43.)
Replacing periodic
maintenance parts A
The periodic maintenance parts will need to
be replaced regularly to maintain the print
quality. The parts listed below will have to be
replaced after printing approximately 50,000
pages

for PF Kit MP and 100,000 pages

for PF Kit 1, PF Kit 2

Please call Brother Customer Service or your
Brother dealer when the following messages
appear on the LCD.
