Caution: If pressure surges from neighbouring
pipe systems that exceed the actual test pressure of
the unit cannot be excluded, a suitable water sur-
ge damper must be installed to protect the unit in
compliance with applicable national standards and
regulations.
5. Installation
5.1. General conditions
The system must be installed, in compliance with the-
se installation and operating instructions by a water
supply company or by an installation company listed
by a water supply company (comply with applicable
national requirements in other countries).
Caution: Working on the electrical system can
e ndanger life. The unit must be disconnected from the
mains before any work is carried out on the system.
Always comply with the national legal requirements for
the connection of and work on the electrical system.
Transportation and storage
Please ensure that, during transport and storage, the
unit is protected against strong shocks, impacts and
frost.
5 .2. Scope of delivery: Check unit for comple-
teness and transport damages (intactness)

Wall unit, ready to plug in, complete with:
- Connection module in high-quality cast brass
with integrated backow preventer, ow sensor
and screwed-on control unit with mains

Tip: For simple installation use the optionally availab-
le multiblock for AQA total 2500 on a connection
module (3/4“, 1“ or 1 1/4“) or preferably on a
HydroMODUL distributor. This signicantly facilita-
tes the operation and maintenance of the AQA total
unit.

- Connection elements in high-quality cast brass
with integrated backow preventer, ow sensor
and screwed-on control unit with mains connection
- 2 mounted screwed elements DN 40 (1 1/2“
