7. Operation
The unit operates automatically and switches itself
on when water is used. The function should be che-
cked regularly by checking the display. Please note
that the unit must always be supplied with electricity.
Allow a few litres of water to ow through the do-
mestic installation after longer periods of stagnancy
before using the water for drinking purposes. The
working unit and the rells are wear parts, that are
subject to a natural wear down over time.
Change of basic settings:
Change the language:
1. Push 4 to enter the menu-overview

Change of time and date:
1. Push 4 to enter the menu-overview

3. Move the display-cursor with the arrow-keys
to the desired display-position and change
values with and .
Repeat as often as necessary. Notice: DS
means daylight saving and is used to change
automatically the time between summer- and
wintertime (e.g. summertime).
When DS (daylight saving) is on,

display ed time is marked with a star. This
causes the control to change automatically
between summertime and wintertime, provi
ded the time and date setting are correct.
There are two time formats – 12 and 24 hours.
When 12 hour mode is chosen, an AM or PM
sign is displayed in the upper right area of
the display. Please consider, that the day of
the week must be chosen manually.

8. Rell replacement
Change of rell:
When a warning triangle and change-rell (with date
and time) is displayed, the rell must be changed wi-
thin some days.
