84 4-1 Charging Instructions
a ventilated area. Persons are not recommended to remain inside the
vehicle.
● During charging, predicted remaining time to full charge will be
displayed on the combination instrument. It is normal that the
predicted remaining time to full charge may vary to some extent with
different temperatures, power capacities and charging facilities.
● It is normal for the instrument to display "calculating" or "equalizing"
before end of charging.
■ After the power battery is fully charged, the charging system will
automatically stop charging.
■ To stop DC charging, turn off the charging pile and then disconnect the
charging connector. For AC charging with household portable equipment,
disconnect the charging plug at the vehicle end and then disconnect the
power supply plug at the power supply end.
■ After charging ends and the charging plug is removed, make sure that the
charging port protection cover and charging port cap are closed, because
water or foreign objects may enter the charging port and affect the normal
use.
■ Before starting the vehicle, make sure the charging equipment has been
disconnected, because when the charging equipment locking mechanism
is not fully locked up, the vehicle may be driven in gear, and this may result
in damage to the charging equipment as well as the vehicle.
■ If the vehicle is not to be used for an extended period of time, it is
recommended that it be charged and driven once every 3 months to
prolong the service life of the power battery.
■ If the charging port cap is frozen due to cold weather or others, it is
recommended to melt the ice with hot water before opening the charging
port cap. Do not forcibly open the charging port cap.
■ When the battery temperature is too high or too low, the vehicle charging
time will be prolonged to some extent; in an extreme environment, normal
charging may become impossible.
● In northern regions where the temperature is low, it is recommended
to charge the vehicle in heated space indoors.
● For charging at low temperature, the temperature control system (if
any) can improve the low-temperature charging capacity of the
battery and enhance the vehicle charging performance.
● During DC charging in the low-temperature and high-SOC condition,
based on the low-temperature characteristics of power battery, the
charging current is small. To increase the charging speed, it is
recommended that the vehicle be charged with a low SOC in a low-
temperature environment.
