PROBLEM
CAUSE
SOLUTION
Weak orange
coloured flame,
pellets not burning
properly and glass
blackened.
Not enough combustion air
Check the following items: any obstructions to air
entry at back of stove; remove or adjust PVC cap
(if applicable) regulating the air inlet pipe; ash
clogged holes in the burn pot grid and/or seat;
clean fan blades and worm screw (see chapter 7,
pages 79 and following).
Exhaust obstructed
The outlet chimney is partly or completely
clogged (check with an expert what’s necessary
from the stove outlet up to the chimney). Clean
immediately.
Stove clogged
Clean inside of stove (see chapter 7, pages 79
and following).
Fumes extractor broken down
Pellets burn also due to the draught in the flue
without the aid of an extraction device. Replace
fumes extractor immediately: stoves operating
without a fumes extractor may be a health
hazard. Call an expert.
Heat exchanger fan
keeps turning even
when stove has
cooled.
Faulty fumes temperature probe
Replace fumes probe
Call an expert.
Faulty electronic circuit board
Replace electronic circuit board
Call an expert.
Ash around stove
Door gasket faulty or torn
Replace gaskets
Fumes channel pipes not
hermetically sealed
Seal connections immediately (with high
temperature silicone) and/or replace pipes with
others to current standards. Fumes channels not
hermetically sealed may be a health hazard. Call
an expert.
Stove goes off
Alarm on display
“AlAr no rEtE”
Plug accidentally disconnected
Check that plug is plugged into mains.
Temporary power failure
Check and re-start stove.
Faulty electronic circuit board
Replace electronic circuit board
Call an expert.
Stove working,
display shows “RiS”
Ambient temperature reached
Stove works on minimum, no problem.
Fumes outlet temperature limit
reached
Stove works on minimum, no problem.
Stove goes off

Have an expert check that probe is
connected to circuit board and/or inserted and
secured in its seat on the extractor.

Have an expert replace fumes probe.

Fumes extractor working at maximum rpm.
Replace exhaust pipe immediately.
