A : This is one of the most commonly -
a s ked questions.The Custom Scale
is pri m a ri l y used when you have
bl u e p rints that have been re d u c e d
or enlarged and are no longer tru e
to their printed “ s c a l e .” To set a
Custom Scale:
1 ) P ress [ M o d e ] until you re a ch
Custom (indicated by a small
“ C u s t o m ”l e gend on the left of
the display ) .
2 ) When Custom Mode is select-
e d , p ress [ S u b t r a c t / C o u n t ] a n d
[Scale] s i m u l t a n e o u s l y. T h e
main display will prompt you to
roll a known distance on yo u r
plans by displaying the wo rd
“R O L L”on the main display.
