5. Insert the red un-stripped conductor into a round hole in the IDC plug, as shown in Figure 3-10. Pinouts are defined in
Table 3-1. Table 3-1 defines the conductor colors.

6. Insert a flat-blade screwdriver into the rectangular hole in the IDC plug, as shown in Figure 3-10 and Figure 3-11.

7. Rotate the IDC plug into position by using the leverage provided by the flat blade screwdriver. Rotate the contact until it
is fully seated, as shown in Figure 3-12.
