series pole
Contact local utility providers to locate any buried utilities prior to installation.
E.1 Installation in concrete foundation (withouta
pedestal)
1. Dig a hole 2.5 ft (76.2 cm) deep with a diameter of 2 ft (61 cm). The hole will require 6 inches
(15.2 cm) of gravel backfill.
2. Place the pole in the center of the hole so it has a height of exactly 100 inches (2.54 m))
above the surface. This height must be maintained as the mast is installed and the concrete
is poured.
3. Fill the hole with concrete.
4. Plumb the pole (adjust to vertical) with a level.
