      If your Canon Camcorder will not focus, it may be because the autofocus does not work on that subject, in which case you should focus manually. You can also try to adjust the viewfinder with the dioptric adjustment lever. Finally, the lens may be dirty, so clean it with a soft lens-cleaning cloth, and never use tissue paper.
