2.3.3.2.1 Structure of Cassette Pick-up Unit

The paper loaded in the cassette is fed by the pick-up roller, and then fed onto the platen via the feed roller.
The pick-up roller unit has a cassette separation roller to prevent multiple sheets from being fed at the same time. The excess sheets separated by the separation
roller are returned to the cassette using the sheet return guide.
The sheet supplied from the cassette is detected by the cassette pick-up sensor and paper detection sensor. If no sheet is detected within the specified time, this
problem is detected as a paper jam.
