2. Make certain brake pedal is depressed and
locked. If it is not, depress brake pedal and
pull lock lever to lock it.
3. Make sure cutting rotary clutch lever is in
[OFF] position.
4. Make certain drive lever is in [ (neutral)]
position.
• Drive lever returns to [ (neutral)] when
brake pedal is fully depressed.

• Safety feature: engine cannot be started
unless brake pedal is depressed.
