Air Cleaner
• Clean air cleaner element daily. Dirty air cleaner element causes poor starting,
reduces engine performance and shortens engine life.
• Replace air cleaner element if damaged.
1. Follow the instructions in Operator's Manual
for the engine to inspect, clean or change
air cleaner element.
Spark Plugs
1. Remove spark plug cap.
2. Remove spark plug with contained Engine
Tool or appropriate plug wrench.
3. Follow the instructions in Operator's Manual
for the engine to inspect, clean, or change
spark plugs.
4. Put spark plug back in place.
5. Put spark plug cap back in place.
• Never pull ignition cable when removing a spark plug cap. Conductor in the
cable may be severed or damaged.
• If a spark plug is damaged, replace it with a new one.
