In this case, the drain pipe can only be connected at the bottom of the
appliance (Fig. and must have a minimum inside diameter of 19 mm
(3/4”); it must be xed to the humidier drain outlet without weighing on
the unit. Observe the following instructions for the installation distances.

General instructions for all units
The characteristics of the drain line are shown in Tab. 3.e. It is also
recommended to provide a funnel to interrupt continuity in the drain
pipe and avoid ooding inside the appliance. compactSteam is equipped
with a mixing valve that, by opening at the same time as the drain
pump, introduces cold feedwater into the drain line so as to guarantee a
maximum drain water temperature of 60°C (140°F).
