SECTION 2 - CONTROLS, INSTRUMENTS AND OPERATION

ATTENTION:
• Ensure the baler is correctly attached to the tractor
and all connections (brakes, road lights) are properly
hooked up as explained earlier in this section, and all
is in good operating conditions. Raise the jack all the
way up.
• With a tandem Autosteer axle, the rear wheels must
be locked for road transport.
• With a tandem axle, beware for the increased swing
radius of the lock end of the baler when making turns.
• With a tandem Autosteer axle, driving on steep side‐
hill sloping terrain, lock the rear wheels to avoid the
machine from drifting sideways down.
• The front U-joint transmission must always be
connected to the tractor PTO shaft during road
transport. Only use the PTO carrier support when the
baler is detached from the tractor. • The bale chute
completely folded position:
The roller bale chute is equipped with a hydraulic
control device to open and close the bale chute.
• Attach the hydraulic lines with the blue plastic cover
to a double acting hydraulic valve of the tractor.
• Move the corresponding tractor hydraulic control
lever out of neutral, to supply or continuous oil flow
to the baler circuit. The lever will automatically be
maintained in that position.
• Swing up the complete bale chute using the hydraulic
control lever at the left-hand rear of the baler. Pulling
lever away from the baler will open the roller bale
chute. Pushing lever towards the baler will close the
roller bale chute.
• Be sure the complete bale chute assembly is locked in
its support before driving.
NOTE: If the chute can not be moved, inverse the position
of the hydraulic control lever in the tractor cab.

CAUTION
Keep bystanders away from the machine while the
operator opens or closes the bale chute, as body injury
could result from becoming hit by the bale
